Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Esther Scott and I am a mathematics teacher and the mathematics department chairperson at Parker High School. For the fall semester of 2020, I am teaching two classes of Algebra 1 and one class of Algebra 3. During the spring semester of 2021, I will be teaching two classes of Trigonometry and one class of Quantitative Reasoning. I love our students and mathematics and can’t imagine myself doing anything else.
Here are a few things about me: I am a lifelong resident of Parker, am married, have four grown children, many grandchildren, and a few great-grandchildren. I play several instruments, sing, and enjoy music of all kinds. I also enjoy sewing, needlework, and crafts. This is my twenty-eighth year teaching mathematics with Parker Schools. I attended our area schools and graduated from Parker High School in 1971. In 1993 I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in mathematics and took a teaching job as the seventh-grade mathematics teacher at Wallace Junior High.In 2000 I earned my Master of Arts degree in elementary education. I am certified to teach the elementary grades (K-8) and secondary mathematics (6-12) and hold middle school and SEI endorsements. This is my thirteenth year teaching mathematics at Parker High School.
